Oh, why are you doing this to me. I try to “”be content in whatsoever state I am in”( Bible verse.), but I love this house. This is an elegant home. I love the kitchen so much. By far this is my favorite.

Love the house. The rooms look huge. The owners don’t take advantage of that space though. Their furniture is mushed together in these big rooms. The entry is gorgeous. I don’t know how I feel about the kitchen. The backyard is perfect.

Ohhhhhh, this is definitely my hands-down favorite this week so far.

This is my favorite so far too. What is the room with the brick floor and wine fridge? It looks like a kitchen but there is a 2nd (much better) kitchen.

I like this house. It would be my third choice. First the stone house then the greek style house then this house. This house is very nice. I love the built in’s and the kitchen. Although I was a little confused as to where the white cabinets were in relation to the kitchen…I’m not so much into brick exterior, but it could be a nice change to whitewash it maybe?

I like this house a lot. Is the “second kitchen” possibly a butler’s pantry? I like the open layout and the staircase is gorgeous. I love the size of the kitchen but I’d have to gut it because I hate those cabinets. The pool is incredible but I hate the look of the outside of the house. I think I still like the southern traditional better.

I love JLB’s comment!! am still smiling about that. I like this house a lot. Am not IN LOVE with it, but I do like it (and the decorating, while being a little bit too traditional for my taste, is inoffensive.) :-)

I would have to change the whole decor and the dark kitchen, but
the set up is really cute

So far this one is my favorite, reface the cabinets and I will move in. I agree with Courtney, the decor it a little too traditional for me, but there is definitely a lot to work with here.

I have a confession to make:

My name is Jane and I am traditional at heart. :)

    this house? *swooooon*

Kitchen seems dark and uninspiring, but the rest is nice. Not convinced I want to live in Birmingham; I am not much for hot, muggy weather.

I really like this house since I have such traditional tendencies. It would make an excellent backdrop to mix trad and modern. I would paint that brick exterior and lighten of the (pretty) kitchen. And re do the master and I’m ready to move it. It is a toss up between this one and the Greek contemporary.

This has been fun! Thanks for doing the legwork to show us Birmingham’s finest.
